About Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a drug free treatment that focuses on the body as an integrated and interrelated whole. In simplest terms the bones and skeletal structure create the framework. Everything else attaches in and around there and has it’s specific function. When one of the body’s systems is not working correctly we suffer through pain, disease and dysfunction. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners work to identify the root cause of these symptoms and conditions. By removing restrictions at the root cause and restoring the body’s natural balance the body is then able to function as designed inducing healing itself.  Osteopathy is performed through a number of manual techniques including massage, adjustments, pressure, stretches and exercises. All movements are gentle and stay within the body’s natural range of motion. Our goal is to identify and treat the cause of your condition then provide techniques for you to maintain your progress independently and long term.
